2014 Hermon Loos Championship camp was held at the National cadet corps training centre at Randenigala Rantambe Sri Lanka.
The runners-up trophy was won by the De Mazenod College cadet platoon for the first time in the college history.
They achieved,- 1st place in the PT sequence
- 1st place in the Shoot-to-kill test
- 2nd place in the Drill Display
- 2nd place in the Confidence Balding Course
- 3rd place in the Drill sequence
- 3rd place in the presentation procedure
- 4th place in the live firing test
The platoon officer Captain Frank Marthinu & the past cadets of De Mazenod College helped to achieve the success.
